"Where's Mully?" is a playful book that weaves the discovery of golf with the unexpected joys in finding friendships where you least expect to do so. The text is accompanied by boldly colored illustrations that pair wonderfully with the tale (or is it "tail"?) of the mischievous pup Mully as he whisks around the golf course. The book teaches without being pedantic, and it opens the door for more in-depth conversations about the game of golf -- terminology, rules, "do's and don'ts", etc. As a former English teacher, mom, and grandmother, I can highly recommend this book for young children, whether or not they fancy themselves as duffers, hackers, or sandbaggers! Dineen Notman and Brent Doyle welcome you into Mully's world, and you are left wondering, "What can possibly happen on the second hole?"

Dineen Notman and Brent Doyle have created an immersive, whimsical, and playful book that will surely draw children in to both the characters and the game of golf. The colors and illustrations bring to life an exciting story with fun-filled twists and turns. The next time I am on the golf course and a ball goes astray, I will find myself wishing I had Mully with me to brighten my mood!

"This is the book that any golfing parents should be reading to their child to introduce them to golf. Mully and his friends make golf look so fun and keep the emphasis on only the most important parts of learning to play golf. Golf can be an intimidating sport to introduce to a young child but with this simple explanation and the fun of the story it makes the sport less and less intimidating. As a teaching professional all the little nuggets of tips and rules are so playfully worded that you can't help but get them stuck in your head."

"Where's Mully?" is a wonderful depiction of some of the deeper meanings involved in the game of golf. It displays the relationship building between friends and even creating new friendships. The creative writing and rhyming make it fun and easy to follow and subtly educates the reader to some of the etiquette involved in golf. The artwork is outstanding and will certainly entice children to read and follow along with the story. I highly recommend it to any parent interested in getting their child involved in learning golf or to any golf coach to share with their junior program.

This book effectively illustrates the essence of golf, highlighting both the game itself and the friendships formed along the way as Mully and Coco embark on their golfing adventure. The fantastic illustrations truly bring the story to life. Kids not only enjoy the fun of golf but also learn important lessons about perseverance, teamwork, and friendship. It’s an engaging read that

captures the spirit of the game, making it perfect for young readers.
